Job summary AMU is a varied, fast paced, dynamic emergency assessment unit for unplanned care. We have a high turnover of patients as we take our own direct emergency admissions from GP's, clinics, and A&E. We assess and admit patients from 9 medical specialities including general medicine, respiratory, cardiology, oncology, and gastroenterology.
