To conclude, we are ranking AI models. This is my opinion based on personal use, research, and market adoption.
- ChatGPT – ChatGPT is currently leading the way with a super high powered and fluid conversation model and highest rates of adoption. However, their processing fees are costly and will need to be reduced in order to stay competitive.
- DeepSeek – Somewhat newer to the top 3, DeepSea made waves when they announced computing power on bar or above ChatGPT for a fraction of the price. This led to them becoming #1 on the app store. They are quickly graining ground on ChatGPT. Deepseek is open source whereas Chatgpt and Gemini are both closed.
- Gemini – Google’s attempt an AI language model. Like ChatGPT, Gemini has similar high processing fees. I rank it a smidge below both Deepseek and Chatgpt in terms of reasoning and conversation.
